Last month, the groundbreaking ceremony for Thompson Puerto Vallarta Hotel & Residences took place, an event led by Jorge Pérez, chairman and CEO of Related Group; Carlos Ancira, partner at Related México and president of Grupo Hotelero Santa Fe; and José Motta, vice president of Related Group. Distinguished guests included Pablo Lemus, governor of the State of Jalisco, and Luis Munguía, president of the municipality of Puerto Vallarta.

Thompson is the most luxurious boutique brand of Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, arriving in Puerto Vallarta with a 26-story tower featuring 130 luxury condominiums—28 of which are fully furnished and part of a hotel rental program—as well as a 14-story hotel with 84 rooms.
