Thompson Vallarta Provides Construction Update

Construction at Thompson Puerto Vallarta Hotel & Residences continues to progress steadily, with the 26-story tower now reaching its 20th floor. Advancing at a pace of one level every two weeks, the development remains on track as one of the largest residential projects currently under construction in Banderas Bay.

Developed by Related Group, a U.S.-based firm with more than 40 years of experience, the project will feature 84 hotel suites and 155 luxury residences with a variety of floor plans, including 29 fully furnished residences. The property will be operated by Thompson Hotels, a Hyatt brand within its luxury lifestyle portfolio.

According to the current construction schedule, the first residences are expected to be delivered in December 2027. This timeline includes not only completion of the tower, but also the installation and preparation of its amenities and services.

The development will feature a signature restaurant, coffee shop, craft cocktail bar, spa, state-of-the-art fitness center, library, movie theater, business center, event space, beach club, swimming pools and rooftop terrace. Residents will also have access to services including room service, concierge assistance, a sommelier and housekeeping.
