From August 28 to 30, the Asociación Mexicana de Profesionales Inmobiliarios (AMPI) (Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals) held the Summit Turístico Inmobiliario 2019 (2019 Tourism Real Estate Summit) at Expo Mundo Imperial, in the Zona Diamante (Diamond Zone) of Acapulco, Guerrero. Its main theme was “Disruptive Real Estate.”
Some of the topics addressed were “Trends in Proptech and Urbantech. Disruption in the Real Estate Sector,” by Huberto Olivo; “Analysis 2019-2050 Mexico, Smart Cities,” by Pablo Colás; “Real Estate Revolution,” by Sergio Felgueres Hernández; and “Real Estate Intermediation in Times of the Knowledge Economy and Shared Economy,” by Luis Carlos Zárate; among others.
In addition, there were speakers such as Ernesto Rodríguez, Gene Towle, José Antonio Manzanero and Baloys Tiburcio, who shared their views and experiences regarding the future of the foreign investment and tourism sector.
The purpose of this event is to generate a more solid action plan that will allow Mexico more participation with northern countries, mainly the United States, with which it seeks to establish more active involvement to continue strengthening vacation real estate transactions.
