Silvia Elias Elected as FIABCI Mexico President
PV Realty broker and director will assume duties as of January 2017.
PV Realty broker and director Silvia Elias was unanimously elected president of the Mexican chapter of the International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI) for the cycle 2017. This appointment took place at the Annual FIABCI Assembly in Puebla, as part of the activities held at the Mexican Real Estate Association National Congress in its 60th anniversary.
Elias is one of the industry’s most widely-recognized professionals in Banderas Bay. She is a founding member of the Puerto Vallarta chapter of AMPI and served as president of this organ from 1995-2001. She is constantly attending real estate congresses, workshops, forums and taking specialized courses in Mexico and United States.
FIABCI is an International organization that provides access and opportunity for real estate professionals interested in acquiring knowledge, sharing information and conducting international business with each other. Its members represent all real estate disciplines including brokerage, property management, valuation, investment, development, consulting, legal, architecture, planning and insurance.
With 3,000 members in 65 countries, alliances with 100 professional associations and 65 academic institutions, FIABCI is the most representative organization of the real estate industry in the world and holds special consultative status with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the United Nations. Silvia Elias will assume duties as president of this organization in Mexico as of January 2017.
