A few weeks ago, the FIABCI Americas International Global Summit was held in Riviera Maya, bringing together about 300 real estate professionals from various countries in Latin America and the world.
During the three days of activities, lectures included “How to Position Myself in a Competitive Market,” given by Teresa King of the Miami Association of Realtors; “Record-setting Mexican Architecture,” by architect Ismael Leyva; “Real Estate Technology to Make Money,” by entrepreneur and real estate author John Mayfield; and “Ecology and Sustainability,” by activist Eduardo Serio. In addition, the “Productive Real Estate Developments” panel was developed and the council of the Mexico section of FIABCI was sworn in (chaired for the second year in a row by Silva L. Elias, director of local real estate company PV Realty).
In addition, FIABCI Americas International Global Summit included opportunities for business networking, gala dinners and recreational activities in Cancun and Tulum. Local industry personalities attending this summit included Harriet Murray, president of the Puerto Vallarta chapter of AMPI (Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals) and the Cochran Real Estate company; as well as Michael Holland, director of Puerto Vallarta Villas.
“The FIABCI Americas International Global Summit is a great opportunity to meet colleagues and attend keynote conferences related to the sector. We are very happy because we have strengthened ties with AMPI (Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals) and that we had their presence for this edition.” —Silvia Elias, president of FIABCI Mexico and director of PV Realty.
