Last month, Puerto Vallarta hosted the XIII Annual “Housing and City” Meeting organized by the Jalisco chapter of the National Chamber of the Housing Development and Promotion Industry (CANADEVI).
The event brought together leaders from the sector and government authorities, to promote a strategic dialogue to develop sustainable housing which will improve the quality of life for residents.
Among the topics discussed were the implementation of public policies that will promote accessible housing projects, as well as the creation of urban spaces that will strengthen social cohesion and contribute to the integral development of communities.
In addition, the need to adapt housing development strategies to meet current demands was highlighted, focusing on the well-being of the population of Jalisco.
Rodrigo Gil, the president of CANADEVI Jalisco, stressed that collaboration between the private and public sector is key to facing current housing challenges.
