Having concluded the second quarter of 2023, the real estate market in Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit presents its sales results, marking an increase of 14 percent compared to the first quarter of this year. These figures delineate a sequence of three consecutive quarters of growth.
There is a curious nuance to this trend: the increase in profits was achieved with sales almost the same as in the first quarter. This scenario reveals a significant upturn in the average selling price. While the average transaction price was 420,000 USD in the first quarter, it rose to 481,000 USD in the second quarter, an increase of more than 12 percent. This performance topped the all-time record for average sales value.
On the other hand, Nuevo Vallarta and Bucerías in Riviera Nayarit were the most popular regions in terms of the volume of property transactions recorded from April to June 2023. These areas also held prominent positions in the first half of the year.
These areas are followed by Central Vallarta and South Shore (between Puerto Vallarta and Boca de Tomatlán). The most affordable areas to buy a property (with the lowest list prices) remain the areas behind the Hotel Zone (Versalles, Fluvial Vallarta and Las Gaviotas, which have increased their appeal to buyers).
