A few weeks ago, the swearing in ceremony was held for the new board of directors of the Asociación de Profesionales Inmobiliarios de Vallarta (APIVAC) (Vallarta Association of Real Estate Professionals), which will govern the organization during the 2019-2020 period. The event took place in Café des Artistes restaurant’s Private Room and was attended by local real estate industry professionals.
The new president is Leticia Araiza, who will now occupy the position left by Alfredo Casillas, APIVAC president during the 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 cycles.
APIVAC’s main objective is to train all its members in the professionalization of their activity and generate business among the associates. All of its guidelines are governed by the Ley Inmobiliaria del Estado de Jalisco (Real Estate Law of the State of Jalisco), together with the other associations in this sector, not only here, but throughout the country.
During the event it was mentioned that APIVAC will present an initiative to the state Congress to promote regulation of real estate activity through professionalization, so that all those involved have the capacity and knowledge necessary to provide excellent service.
“I appreciate the support of all the members of APIVAC for the trust they place in me. Currently, there is a vibrant real estate market that has been increasing in recent years in a healthy and consistent manner. Real estate agents must be prepared for this promising future.” —Leticia Araiza, president of APIVAC 2019-2020.
