A few weeks ago, the National Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals (AMPI) announced new alliances with international real estate organizations that will promote joint efforts among agents around the world.
At the 68th FIABCI World Congress, held in Andorra la Vella, Andorra, Ana Beatriz Muñoz Ruiz, of AMPI’s national council, signed a bilateral collaboration agreement with Silvia Elias, president of the Mexico chapter of the International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI) and director of local real estate agency PV Realty. Representing National AMPI President Beatriz Gamboa, Muñoz formally established cooperation between the organizations, convinced that the agreement will benefit all members.
Currently, FIABCI connects more than 100 real estate organizations representing more than 1,500,000 industry professional, 60 academic institutions and 3,000 companies in America, Europe, Africa and Asia. Silvia Elias has led the Mexico chapter of this organization since January 2017.
A similar agreement between AMPI and the National Association of Realtors (NAR) was realized during the REALTORS® Legislative Meetings & Trade Expo, held in Washington, DC, where experiences were shared to foster continuous improvement of the industry, management of public policies and collaboration in the association.
“We have been working to establish agreements and benefits for associates and affiliates to make membership more attractive and strengthen the involvement of new participants in the sector, as well as to professionalize the real estate industry throughout the country.” —Beatriz Gamboa, national president of AMPI.
