Strengthening alliances with internationally recognized organizations in the real estate sector, continuing to improve training through technological tools and generating strategies that promote the unity and equity of the guild are just some of the objectives of Roberto Barrios Gaxiola, the new national president of the Asociación Mexicana de Profesionales Inmobiliarios (AMPI) (Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals) for 2020.
During his inauguration, he emphasized, “We will seek to further strengthen the relationship with foreign sister organizations, specifically with FIABCI, NAR and CILA. In addition, we will seek to create new synergies with the private sector to attract more investment to the country.”
As part of its strategy, AMPI National and the National Association of Realtors (NAR) signed a collaboration agreement, which established the commitment of both associations to create strategies that help and complement the education of the real estate guild.
Barrios mentioned that, as part of the strengthening of training, the implementation of a Research and Statistics Unit is being considered, as well as different technological tools.
“My commitment is to each one of the associates and affiliates, so that together we contribute with our association to the economic growth of the country, through the promotion of the real estate sector and the generation of a social impact.” —Roberto Barrios Gaxiola, national president of AMPI.
