In a ceremony held at the historic Ex Convento de San Hipólito (CDMX), Emilio Rojas Cobián was appointed as the new president of the National Board of Directors of the Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals (AMPI) for 2024.
In his opening speech, Rojas Cobián outlined his commitment to the economic development of the real estate sector in Mexico, noting that this progress will always be guided by the highest standards of legality and professional ethics. In addition, he expressed his intention to promote training and education in all areas and levels of the real estate field, in order to strengthen companies within the industry and contribute to the country’s economic growth.
One of the pillars of his leadership plan will be the promotion of programs aimed at protecting the environment, promoting sustainable urban mobility, and integrating global trends into the Mexican real estate market.
The event also served as a platform for Ignacio Lacunza Magaña, the prior president of AMPI, to highlight the achievements and challenges that were overcome during his tenure in 2023. Lacunza Magaña urged Rojas Cobián to continue promoting the “Ambassadors of Real Estate Investment” program and to maintain the collaboration and unity that have characterized AMPI over the years.
“I take on my responsibility and reiterate my commitment to work in unity with projects that benefit our association. I will continue to promote generational renewal to enhance AMPI’s growth and positioning.” —Emilio Rojas Cobián, national president of the Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals.
