The Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals (AMPI) anticipates a promising future for Mexico’s real estate sector. This was announced by Emilio Rojas, elected national president of this organization, during the latest National Real Estate Congress.
“Mexico’s real estate industry is on the rise, as there is currently a significant increase in the number of developments being built in beach areas, which are now leading demand. Our country has positioned itself as a leader worldwide in the injection of private capital into the real estate industry. This has been driven by factors such as nearshoring, the repercussions of the pandemic, the rise of e-commerce and the reactivation of supply chains,” said Rojas.
He also explained that this scenario has led to records in construction, as well as in the leasing and purchase of storage space for the third consecutive year.
Finally, he stressed that next year, during his tenure at the head of the National AMPI, they will focus on the development of private projects and on increasing membership, marking the issue of business as one of the four key pillars during his term’s platform.
“Mexico is consolidating its position as a leading player worldwide in the real estate sector. Currently, the developments being built in beach tourist destinations are the ones leading the demand for properties nationwide. The challenge is to continue this trend.” —Emilio Rojas, national-elect president of the Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals (AMPI).
