Air Traffic Reflects Puerto Vallarta’s Dynamism

Puerto Vallarta has solidified its position as one of Mexico’s most popular destinations, as within just the first three months of 2024, Puerto Vallarta International Airport has received nearly 2.1 million visitors.

This number represents a 5 percent increase compared against the same period in 2023, marking the third consecutive year that our destination has surpassed Los Cabos in number of visitors.

This trend reflects the continued attraction of Puerto Vallarta as a desirable place to visit and experience, leading to excellent opportunities to promote and place Vallarta · Nayarit real estate as some of the best in Mexico.

Additionally, this increase in visitors has had a positive impact on the destination’s hotel occupancy. In March 2023, an occupancy rate of 69.9 percent was recorded, while in March 2024, that number increased to 75.2 percent.
