The Velas Vallarta resort in Marina Vallarta hosted “Nearshoring and Super Peso”, an informative event that was organized and presented by Actinver, a Mexican company investment management firm.

During the panel, Enrique Covarrubias, chief economist and director of analysis in Actinver, offered an informative talk on the current economic situation, as well as the reasons why the Mexican peso is in a good position against the US dollar (including nearshoring, remittances, and inflation, among others).

Armando Ríos Píter, a political specialist, continued with a presentation that reviewed the impact of news media on society and presented the current political context of our country, as well as the movements and candidates who will be playing an important role in the following months.

“At Actinver, we promote this type of event to keep our clients and guests updated about national and international events that are of interest, so that they can make better decisions when they choose to invest,” commented Godofredo Vidal Gutiérrez, director of Actinver Puerto Vallarta.

At the end of both presentations, there was a space for questions and answers, where the audience had the opportunity to interact with the speakers.
