Recently, Tierra y Armonía (the real estate company behind residential beach developments such as Real del Mar, Punta Esmeralda and Alamar) received the award as one of the 99 Mejores Empresas Mexicanas (MEM) (99 Best Mexican Companies) for their sound business practices and financial position.
This distinction is delivered jointly by Citibanamex, Deloitte and Tecnológico de Monterrey. The commercial sectors that participate are commercial, manufacturing, construction and services.
With more than 40 years in the development of real estate projects, Tierra y Armonía is known for designing innovative projects at the vanguard, including residential developments and lots, commercial plazas, industrial parks, corporate spaces and luxury tourist resorts.
For this ninth edition, 356 companies participated nationally, but only 146 met all the requirements. The results were announced by Gabriel Morales, regional dean of Escuela de Negocios del Tecnológico de Monterrey; Pilar Ruiz, CEO of MEM; and Daniel Garduño, executive director of Banca Empresarial Citibanamex.
In the Construction category, the evaluation committee took into account the use of technology as a selling point and reinvention to attract customers in the face of the wide range of loans and financial instruments available to acquire a property.
