To provide greater opportunities for personal and professional growth to those building Alana Wellness Living, the Alana Classroom (Aula Alana) was recently opened. This free educational space was developed through a partnership between Grupo VEQ (the project’s real estate developer) and the Construyendo y Creciendo (Building and Growing) Foundation.

Since opening its doors, the classroom has offered access to primary, middle, and high school education with official accreditation from the Secretariat of Public Education (SEP). It also provides courses in computer literacy, digital tools, and vocational training for various trades.

The event brought together employees, students, and executives from both organizations. Notable attendees included Armando Arriaga, marketing director at Grupo VEQ, Francisco Dueñas, HR manager at Grupo VEQ, José Miguel Juárez, Western regional leader for Construyendo y Creciendo, and Estela García, the classroom’s educational advisor.

During the ceremony, students shared testimonials about how this program has given them a chance to continue their education and broaden their career horizons. The event also recognized the hard work of those who have already completed courses within the program, which included presenting an award to Damián Díaz for successfully finishing his Basic Computer Skills training.

The Alana Classroom currently has 11 active students, though organizers expect to significantly increase this number in the coming months. Additionally, they announced plans to potentially extend these educational benefits to the workers’ families, further expanding the initiative’s social impact.

Backed by official SEP accreditation, the project aims to boost the professional and personal development of its workforce.
