Recently, details were released regarding the construction of Xala, an ultra-luxury resort/residential project that will be built to the south of Puerto Vallarta, in the region of Costalegre, Jalisco. This development will have an initial investment of approximately 1 billion USD and will be led by RLH Properties and RSC Development, the same team that led the acclaimed Mandarina development in El Monteón, Riviera Nayarit.
Set on over 3,000 acres, Xala promises to be a milestone in Mexico’s real estate history. The project will feature two ultra-luxury hotels, as well as 100 residential villas, with prestigious brands such as Four Seasons and One&Only.
The first phase of this project will be the construction of a Six Senses hotel with 51 villas, each with its own private pool, which is scheduled to be completed in 2026.
To facilitate access to this paradisal region, the new Chalacatepec International Airport is expected to open in the course of 2024.
Xala will also develop and carry out ambitious plans to reforest 250 hectares of land and preserve 590 hectares as a protected area, where it will implement programs for the conservation of local wildlife.
This ambitious project not only represents a significant investment in real estate, but also a commitment to sustainable tourism in Mexico, which will contribute to cementing Costalegre as a world-class destination.
