In order to help families affected by the current health contingency, Tropicasa Realty and Elengorn Realtors joined forces through generous donations and community work to support the Vallarta Food Bank initiative, a project dedicated to the collection and distribution of food.

To learn more about it, Vallarta Real Estate Guide contacted Wayne Franklin, president of Tropicasa Realty, and Sarah Elengorn, director of Elengorn Realtors, who kindly shared what their work consists of.

Franklin mentioned that, since mid-March, the members of his company had contemplated participating in various projects that would allow them to support the community. “When we heard about this noble initiative, we decided to speak with the organizers to support it with donations that now help more than 250 families on a weekly basis, as well as direct community service at the food bank’s facilities,” he explained.

For her part, Elengorn noted that her donations also began in March, but she and some of her collaborators decided to participate more actively at this food bank’s facilities, to assemble more than 200 food packages daily and distribute more than 400 at least twice a week. “The system Vallarta Food Bank uses works very well, and the support reaches those who really need it,” she said.

Through this type of action, both real estate agencies reaffirm their commitment to the well-being of Puerto Vallarta and its surroundings.

The Vallarta Food Bank facilities are located at Río de la Plata 379, López Mateos.
