Perched on the point separating the Pacific from Banderas Bay, Punta Mita is a master-planned resort and residential community covering more than 1,500 acres, with 9.5 miles of coastline. Home to the Four Seasons Resort, St. Regis Resort & Residences (opening October 2008) and two Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Courses, Punta Mita will soon welcome a Mii Amo Spa and La Solana Resort (both 2010). Residents´ beach clubs, a tennis center and yacht pier (2009), plus a variety of exclusive condominiums, villas and estate lots round out the offerings of this singular resort community.
The Four Seasons Private Villas Punta Mita full-ownership residences radiate prestige and superior craftsmanship, with four indoor and outdoor floor plans ranging from approximately 6,475 to 7,995 sq. ft. Showcasing modern coastal architecture complementary to other Punta Mita properties, the villas are poised to become legacy homes. Elegantly furnished and distinguished by private infinity-edge plunge pools, gourmet kitchens, covered terraces and patio areas, the Four Seasons Villas are as welcoming as they are masterfully crafted. And as an owner, you enjoy the amenities of the neighboring Four Seasons Resort.
Ownership includes one single family Club Punta Mita membership for the existing Jack Nicklaus Pacifico Signature Golf Course, Jack Nicklaus Bahia Signature Golf Course, access to the Resident´s Beach Club and The St. Regis Beach Club, and access to the tennis and fitness facility. St. Regis dining access available with prior reservation, subject to availability, and full access to the amenities of the Four Seasons Resort, exclusive to the Four Seasons Private Villa owners and Four Seasons Resort guests.

This dramatically pretty peninsula with absolutely exquisite beaches and sweeping views of both the bay and open water has always been a popular weekend escape from Puerto Vallarta. But since the Four Seasons Resort and Jack Nicklaus signature golf course opened a few years ago in the master-planned resort and residential community called Punta Mita, it is also attracting the attention of jet setters and those seeking the good life - many of whom arrive in their own planes. At the northern entrance to Banderas Bay, the 1600-acre very private and exclusive resort offers 9.5 miles of beach front and uninterrupted views. Other prestigious hotels will open here soon, the beach clubs, villas and services par none and just getting better and better as more high-end boutique hotels and residences come on stream. if you are not a guest of Punta Mita or hold a reservation at one of its restaurants you will not be permitted access to the resort itself, security top-notch. Everyone can enjoy the public beach El Anclote, however, a small, typical Mexican fishing village now getting spiffed up as a result of the recent infusion of sophistication and wealth to the area. So there are some really good but still very neat restaurants to eat at, with palapas and lounges on the beach available for your use at no cost if you patronize them. From this beach you can clearly see the nearby Las Marietas islands and arrange sightseeing trips by boat, rent a kayak, catamaran and snorkeling gear, or hire a panga with a guide to take you out whale watching.
