Real estate company Realty World Mexico reported that during the first 10 months of 2018, the greatest purchasing activity in the traditional housing segment in Jalisco was concentrated in people over 30 years of age.
According to data from the Comisión Nacional de Vivienda (CONAVI) (National Housing Commission), in Jalisco a total of 5,697 units were sold to this segment during the January-October period last year.
This behavior was also reflected in the states of Nuevo León, Guanajuato and México, the latter with 9,850 houses sold during that period.
In the state of Nuevo León 5,086 houses were sold, while in Guanajuato, a total of 4,381 units were sold to those from 30 to 59, the firm says.
The highest sales activity in the traditional housing segment was concentrated in people over 30 years old, in the states of Jalisco, México and Nuevo León.
